Salk's "Science Can't Wait" webinar series partners with Del Mar Foundation
Science can’t wait—and neither can the breakthroughs that begin with foundational research.
The Salk Institute and Del Mar Foundation presents the final installment of the Science Can’t Wait webinar series: “Turning the Immune System Against Breast Cancer.” This free virtual conversation with Salk scientist Dan Hollern, PhD, explores how researchers are harnessing the immune system to find and disable breast cancer cells, with the goal of developing treatments that provide long-lasting protection against the disease.
We’re proud to partner with the Del Mar Foundation to help bring early-stage science directly to the community and highlight why investing in foundational research today shapes healthier futures tomorrow. Through June, donations made during the webinar series will be matched 1:1 through the Del Mar Foundation Challenge Match—doubling support for groundbreaking discovery.
